Bosque Farms, Peralta
Bosque Farms is an area taht may be one of the top horse havens in the state! The motto of this village is "Preserving Our Rural Heritage," and an amazing number of the residents of the village, and of the unincorporated area of Peralta immediately to its south, own horses and other livestock. The green irragated pastures of this area along the Rio Grande, along with the local Bosque Farms Arena that brings in horse shows, rodeos, ropings, and other equestrian activities make this small town a real draw for horse owners. There are a few areas with manufactured homes priced under $100,000, but average prices in this area are into the mid $200,000's, with sosme of the larger homes bringing close to $500,000. There are a number of subdivisions of large, new custom homes, as well.
